My approach is grounded in the belief that people are naturally striving toward growth and lasting change. Rather than telling clients what they should do, I help them gain clarity about what matters most to them and identify how they want to move forward.
In addition to six years of counseling experience, I bring more than twenty years of experience working in business and organizational settings, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies. This background shaped my systems-oriented perspective and my interest in understanding why challenges develop, what maintains them, and what creates meaningful and sustainable change.
I also have a particular interest in the intersection of emotional well-being, relationships, life transitions, and financial stress. I believe that our relationship with money influences many aspects of our lives, including our decisions, values, relationships, and overall sense of well-being.
My goal is to provide a thoughtful, collaborative, and supportive environment where clients can explore challenges with curiosity, develop greater self-understanding, and create intentional change that aligns with their values and goals.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring what brings you to counseling. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant background information, strengths, and the challenges you would like to address.
In addition to understanding your needs, we will begin identifying your goals for therapy and what meaningful change would look like for you. This process helps ensure that our work together is guided by your values, priorities, and vision for the future.
-
The length of counseling varies based on your goals, circumstances, and preferences. Some clients seek support around a specific concern over a relatively short period of time, while others engage in therapy for longer-term growth and self-exploration. We will regularly review your goals and progress together.

Financial stress often affects much more than finances alone. Money can influence relationships, self-confidence, decision-making, and overall well-being. Counseling can help you better understand the emotional and relational aspects of money, identify patterns that contribute to stress, and develop healthier ways of approaching financial decisions and challenges.
-
No. Counseling is not a substitute for financial planning, investment advising, or legal services. My role is to help clients explore the emotional, relational, and behavioral aspects of money and financial stress. When appropriate, I may encourage collaboration with qualified financial or legal professionals.
